EGG - EDH PreCon National Commander League 2024 1st Qualifier

There will be a time limit on each round:

EDH - 105 min

Due to the limited time in each round we ask that you not try to stall the game out or waste time. Please be understanding and respectful to other members of the tournament. If the timer should run out then the person who's turn it is finished that turn. If there are still at least 2 players standing after that, then the points shall be divided accordingly as if it was a draw.

We will be having 5 rounds (Yes, 5 Rounds) of EDH.

You need to decide beforehand which of the 2 events you will be entering in.

A points system (link at bottom) will be in use. 

No Proxies!

Event Rules:

Any Precon from Magic’s history. You may take out five cards and replace them with five cards. If you replace a land card with a spell that counts as 1. We do not care what you do with your mana base, You may swap the internal commanders in the precon, but may not bring in a new commander who did not feature in the original deck list. Deck lists will need to be submitted. You may swap out any card for an alternate printing (not a proxy) of the same card, so bling out that precon. You do not have to own the actual precon, you may build it from the cards in your collection but the deck list will need to match the original deck list bar your 5 changes.

Each player is only permitted to use 1 EDH/cEDH deck. So make sure you bring your best one. And also make sure the appropriate power level is associated with the correct format.

PreCon EDH Event Rules:

Any PreCon from Magic's History.

You may take out 5 cards and replace them with 5 cards.

If you replace a land card with a spell, that counts as 1 change.

Otherwise, We do not care what you do with your mana base.

You may swap the Internal Commander for the deck, but are not allowed to use a commander from outside the original deck.

Deck Lists will need to be submitted.

The card does not have to be the original from the PreCon. It just has to be a legal version. So you can bling out the deck as you desire.

This also means you do not have to own the original PreCon, you can build it from the PreCon list (Taking into account thee 5 or less changes)
